Comment:Anna spotted a large boulder with sand-gravel on top (3-5 inch layer); Bag A is unbiased trowel off surface, including large clasts; Bag B is just the lapilli-sized material that was largely underneath the larger clasts, as if graded deposition. Scraped down to the boulder. Boulder was angular, likely dome block, possibly ejected in 2016, as this is region of high block density from the April 22 sketch map from Reston. Material above could be redeposited material on top of melted ice.
