Geological component of this sample includes about 50% coarse (to about 3 cm) spatter fragments with the remainder consisting of broken crystals of opx, cpx, and ol; pyroclasts including rare limu and Pele's hair, altered glass fragments, rare sulfur spherules, and two pink echinoid spines (perhaps contamination from the sampler?).
